Closer view of the engine and propeller and hub.  Note the orange marks on the hub and lower propeller blade; these indicate how much twist the blades have been turned to.  When an engine failed or was shot up the propeller blades were turned to about 90 degrees of normal (they were "feathered") to provide minimal wind resistance.
