Dubrovnik is two cities in one. It is a modern city on the coast of Croatia, but it also contains an ancient walled city of the same name. Ancient Dubrovnik is famous for it's spectacular defensive wall which totally surrounds it. When visiting Dubrovnik most people walk the entire length of the wall, and then go down to see the city itself.
