Corfu is one of the largest Greek islands and is located in the Ionian Sea. Its climate is much more temperate than the other Greek islands and it is thus a very popular tourist location. Because our ship's sailing schedule afforded us limited time in Corfu we opted to hire a local guide and driver to show us the sights and explain what we were seeing.
