This is the left end of Mesa Arch. The arch itself is on the right and the cliff on which it rests is on the left. The vertical crack clearly shows that the arch is a separate piece of rock. The foot of the left end comes to a point and rests on a small rock shelf about six inches wide. I have no idea how the arch stays where it is since it is only resting on it's two ends and is not connected to anything.
