The sheep dog (at rear) is bringing the herd into the pen. There are two kinds of sheep dogs: the ones that bring the sheep to a certain place, and the ones that scatter the sheep out to pasture. The first type of dog never barks, while the second type barks a lot to help scatter the sheep.
