A captured German V-1 "buzz bomb." These pilotless drones were launched from Germany and were aimed at Britain during the Battle of Britain. I had never seen a V-1 before and was surprised at how large it was. Nearly the size of a Zero or Spitfire it turned out the best defense against these was skilled Spitfire pilots who shot them down as they flew.
