A large hot spring close to one of the park's access roads. A visitor I spoke with told the story of a friend who had not been to the park before who stopped on the road with his dog to look at the pool. It was hot and the dog ran out and jumped into the pool to cool off. Of course the dog had no idea the water was about 190 degrees and as strong as battery acid. Regrettably the dog died almost instantly.
