This is an example of being in the right place at the wrong time. I took this photo from Oxbow Bend, a curve in the Snake River that is famous for photographing the Grand Teton mountains. When I took this photo the sky was overcast, the air was filled with smoke, and the river was slightly rippled. You can see what being here at a different time is like by clicking here and here.
