Holland America has 13 cruise ships of which the Noordam is the newest. It was built at an Italian shipyard and commissioned in Feb 2006. This ship is large; it holds 1918 passengers and 803 crew and is 935 feet long, 106 feet wide, and weighs 81,769 tons.
