The fountain (constructed in 1911) at the center of the Piazza Republica, one of Rome's largest piazza areas. The Baths of Diocletian are on one side of this piazza. The opposite side of the piazza is dominated by two large oval-fronted modern buildings called the Exedra, one of which is shown here.
