A large pyramid shaped rock sitting on top of a much older sedimentary layer. The pyramid itself is comprised of 2 separate pieces; note the horizontal crack behind the juniper bush.  Also note the pile of rubble at lower right; this has fallen off the pyramid in recent times (last million years or so.)
